About the Program

Family traditions serve as powerful carriers of meaning, memory, and identity.   When intentionally designed and thoughtful practiced, they become strategic tools for strengthening intergenrational connection, cultivating family culture, and preparing rising generations for stewardship and leadership.   This free session will explore how purposeful traditions can bridge the past and the future by reinforcing shared values, enhancing belonging, and promoting continuity across generations.

Drawing upon research in narrative psychology, family systems, social learning, and legacy planning, this webinar will demonstrate how traditions move beyond sentinment to become repeatable practices that activate engagement and foster resilience.   Participants will learn frameworks for identifying and shaping meaningful traditions, strategies for encouraging participation across age groups, and methods for aligning ritual practice with broader family governance and legacy objectives.

Advisors and family enterprise leaders will leave with practical tools, reflective questions, and facilitation approaches that support families in transforming tradition into a living, participatory asset.   Through intentional tradition-building, families can honor their history while equipping future generations to contribute, lead, and thrive.
